Read a bit more about the NPS Area 15 committee below
Sandy was one of the founding members of NPS Area 15. She has shown and bred natives ponies all of her life which has seen her ponies compete at HOYS, Olympia, RI and at many county shows across the country. Sandy was the editor of Showing World Magazine for nearly 10 years, before she sold the title in 2015. She is also the Vice President of SSADL, is an Exmoor Pony Society Breed panel judge and is also on the Ponies UK M&M, TGCA and TSR judges panel.
Kate has bred and shown horses and ponies all her life and has been a regular supporter of the local area. More recently, over the last few years, she is a well recognised face in Suffolk and Norfolk for bringing a host of well supported shows to the area, along with her business partners. Kate's knowledge of the area and hosting competitions will be invaluable to the NPS Area 15 committee and the team are pleased to welcome her on board as the area secretary.
Amber is no stranger to the showring, having produced and ridden native ponies and riding ponies to stand top of the line at the Royal International Horse Show and other championship shows across the country. Amber is pleased to join the area committee to put back into her area and get more people involved in the NPS and the area 15. She will be looking after the social media for the area, having recently set up an instagram page, a real asset to the team.
Having been brought up showing ponies from as soon as she could walk Madeline is pleased to contributing to the NPS Area 15 committee in the capacity of secretary. She has ridden native ponies at Olympia and HOYS but more recently enjoys breeding Exmoor ponies and showing her natives in hand alongside her full time job in veterinary pharmaceuticals. She can also often be seen on the end of a lead rein with her niece and Shetland pony.
From a young age Liam and his family competed in a variety of equestrian disciplines. Having recently competed on the show jumping circuit Liam has also ridden for various producers and owners, with success at RIHS and other major championships shows. He was the head boy for Team Hillyard, where he took the CHAPS plaited horse HOYS qualifier at Lincs County Show. Liam has recently gone freelance and is pleased to be putting his showing experience to good use serving on the NPS Area 15 committee.
Ella is a well known professional producer based in the heart of Suffolk. Among varying showing ring successes Ella has produced horses and ponies to HOYS, RI and Olympia level in M&M, coloured, show pony and riding horse classes. More recently she can be seen in the ring leading her daughter Lexi. Ella sits on a variety of judges panels as well as being a strong supporter of the area. Ella will play an import role on the NPS Area 15 committee.
